The Intelligent Manufacturing Program is designed to develop high-quality technical human resources capable of integrating traditional manufacturing engineering knowledge with the core technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0). The program aims to meet enterprises’ needs for transforming production models in the context of rapid automation, digitalization, smart connectivity, and data-driven optimization across modern manufacturing and industrial sectors.
The program equips students with a strong foundation in manufacturing technologies, automation, industrial robotics, control systems, sensors, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and digital twin technologies in manufacturing. In addition, courses in production management, quality management, simulation and optimization, and data-driven decision-making enable students to develop a smart, flexible, and sustainable manufacturing mindset.
With a training orientation that closely integrates academics, technology, and industry practice, the Intelligent Manufacturing Program prepares graduates to work effectively in smart factory environments, high-tech manufacturing enterprises, and global supply chains, while also enabling them to rapidly adapt to technological advancements and the evolving demands of both domestic and international labor markets.
