Admissions

Applicants for the Master of Business Administration – Technology Management program must have a clear personal background, currently not under any criminal investigation, and meet the following conditions:

1. Academic Qualifications:

Applicants for the Master of Technology Management program must hold a bachelor’s degree or have met the requirements for a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent or higher) in technology fields (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, information technology) or in fields related to economics, business, and management.If the applicant’s degree is not in one of the aforementioned fields, they must complete supplementary courses in Advanced Mathematics, Probability and Statistics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Management, and Principles of Finance – Banking to meet the academic qualifications for admission.

Degrees and transcripts issued by foreign institutions must be notarized in Vietnamese and accompanied by a recognition document from the Department of Quality Management (for information on degree recognition from foreign institutions, visit https://naric.edu.vn, under the “Degree Recognition Process Guidelines” section).

2. Health Requirements:

Applicants must be in good health for study. Foreign applicants must provide a health certificate issued by a medical facility recognized by the receiving educational institution or a designated health service for foreign students in Vietnam.

3. Language Proficiency:

Applicants must meet one of the following language proficiency requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a foreign language or a bachelor’s degree or higher where the program was primarily conducted in a foreign language (certified by the degree-granting institution).
  • A bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree awarded by UEH within the last 2 years from the registration date, where the program’s graduation requirements included a language proficiency level of 3 or higher according to the Vietnamese 6-level foreign language proficiency framework.
  • A language certificate or degree that meets the equivalent of level 3 or higher according to the Vietnamese 6-level foreign language proficiency framework (see Appendix I, Conversion Reference Table for some foreign language certificates) or other equivalent B1 certificates issued by higher education institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training, valid until the registration date.
  • An entrance foreign language exam score for UEH postgraduate programs of 50 or higher (on a scale of 100). The expected language proficiency test date is September 22, 2024.
  • Foreign applicants who wish to enroll in a master’s program taught in Vietnamese must achieve a Vietnamese language proficiency of level 4 or higher according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners, or have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent or higher) where the program was taught in Vietnamese.
