Applicant Group 1: Applicants who have graduated from Vietnam’s upper secondary school or vocational secondary school programs

a) Conditions

Applicants must participate in one or more of the following examinations:

The 2026 High School Graduation Examination, including results in the subjects required by UEH’s admission subject combinations;

The 2026 Competency Assessment Examination organized by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City;

The 2026 V-SAT University Entrance Assessment Examination.

Applicants must have graduated from upper secondary school, vocational secondary school, or an equivalent program in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, and must meet the entrance quality assurance threshold set by UEH.

b) Admission Score

The admission score is calculated on a 100-point scale as follows:

ADMISSION SCORE = Examination score × Coefficient a + Average high school academic score × Coefficient b + Additional points, if any + Regional and applicant-category priority points, if any

In which:

Coefficient a + Coefficient b = 100%, with Coefficient a = 60% and Coefficient b = 40%.

Examination score:
The examination results from the High School Graduation Examination, VNU-HCM Competency Assessment Examination, and V-SAT are considered equivalent. Applicants may use only one examination score for admission consideration. If an applicant has results from multiple examinations, UEH will convert them into equivalent scores and select the score most beneficial to the applicant.

Notes:

For applicants who graduated before 2026, also known as independent candidates, they may participate in one of the above examinations for admission consideration.

UEH applies the V-SAT examination organized by Can Tho University in 2026 only for the KSV application code.

Average high school academic score:

Average high school academic score =
(Grade 10 average × 1 + Grade 11 average × 2 + Grade 12 average × 3) / 6

Note:
If applicants do not have annual average scores, the score will be calculated by averaging the academic scores of subjects with coefficient 1 for Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12. Then, the average high school academic score will be calculated using the formula above and rounded according to UEH’s regulations.
