UEH Students from the Institute of Smart and Interactive Technology Complete Exchange Semester at Rajamangala University of Technology, Thailand

As part of the collaboration between the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), an exchange program was organized to provide students with the opportunity to experience an international learning environment and engage in cultural exchange.

From June 1 to June 10, 2024, 31 students from the Robotics & Artificial Intelligence and Logistics Technology programs at UEH’s Institute of Smart and Interactive Technology (3ITech) participated in an exchange semester at RMUTL, Thailand.

The exchange program included two main courses: Fundamental Physics for Engineers and Cultural Exchange Activities. Students engaged in both theoretical and practical sessions held in state-of-the-art facilities, including laboratories and classrooms at RMUTL.

During the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyamas Tancharoenrat, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Science and Technology at RMUTL, warmly welcomed the UEH delegation, emphasizing the importance of international academic collaboration and the value of cross-cultural learning experiences.

Throughout the program, UEH students worked closely with RMUTL instructors, conducting practical experiments and participating in interactive cultural activities designed to foster mutual understanding and academic growth.

At the conclusion of the program, students received certificates of completion from RMUTL, marking a successful exchange semester. The collaboration not only broadened the students’ academic horizons but also enriched their intercultural competence, preparing them for global career opportunities.

Additionally, the delegation from UEH’s Institute of Smart and Interactive Technology (3ITech) also conducted a working session and visited the facilities at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna to prepare for the exchange program for the Robotics Laboratory course for K49 students in upcoming semesters.
