On the morning of September 11, 2024, the UEH Institute of Smart Technology and Interaction, under the School of Technology and Design at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), welcomed representatives from the Busan Global City Foundation (BGCF) for a meeting to foster international cooperation. BGCF serves as a key liaison organization, connecting with over 40 universities and colleges in Busan, South Korea.

During the discussion, both parties agreed on a plan to co-organize a study abroad seminar in November 2024. This event will provide UEH students with valuable opportunities to explore study abroad scholarship programs in technology and engineering. At the seminar, BGCF will introduce detailed scholarship programs for outstanding students, including full tuition and living expense support for one year. After this period, students can participate in work-study programs while gaining access to additional scholarships and academic support from universities in Busan.

A key highlight of the seminar will be one-on-one study abroad counseling sessions, where students can directly interact with representatives from BGCF and partner universities. Participants will have the chance to gain in-depth insights into academic programs, various scholarship opportunities, as well as part-time jobs and internship prospects in Busan.

This seminar not only provides students with opportunities to expand their academic paths in South Korea but also helps them better prepare for their educational journey and career development in the technology sector.
