Nguyen Tran Phuong Ngan, a 12A6 student from Ly Tu Trong High School, Nha Trang City, has showcased her passion and talent through the project “Marinet – An Application Utilizing AI and Blockchain Technology to Support Fishermen in Fishing, Processing, Preservation, and Distribution of Seafood”. This innovative and promising project earned Phuong Ngan the First Prize at the 2023 Khanh Hoa Province Science and Technology Contest.
With her project “Marinet,” Phuong Ngan proposed groundbreaking solutions to the challenges faced by the fishing industry. By integrating artificial intelligence and blockchain, the application provides tools to assist fishermen in tracking fishing activities, maintaining product quality, and ensuring transparency in the supply chain. These technologies aim to help improve the efficiency and sustainability of fishing operations while addressing long-standing issues in seafood processing and distribution.
Speaking about her success, Phuong Ngan expressed her gratitude for the guidance and support of her teachers and family, which motivated her to develop the project. “This award not only validates my efforts but also encourages me to further pursue my passion for technology,” she shared.

Encouraged by her achievements, Phuong Ngan has chosen to further her studies at Institute of Intelligent & Interactive Technologies – University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to develop her knowledge in technology and business. She hopes to refine “Marinet” into a practical tool that can make a meaningful impact on the fishing community in Vietnam.
The first prize at the Khanh Hoa Province Science and Technology Contest is a significant milestone for Phuong Ngan. It reflects the talent and creativity of young Vietnamese students and their determination to address real-world problems with modern technological solutions.
