On April 25, 2024, students from the Institute of Intelligent and Interactive Technologies, UEH School of Technology and Design (CTD – 3I) had the opportunity to visit the production process of the Ajinomoto Factory, located at No. 9 Street, Long Thanh Industrial Park, Long Thanh, Dong Nai.
The field trip was an important part of the curriculum, providing students with hands-on experience and insights into the general business environment and the professional production process of a large and reputable enterprise in Vietnam. The Ajinomoto Long Thanh Factory, Dong Nai is the second factory of Ajinomoto Vietnam, equipped with modern machinery and equipment, applying advanced Japanese production technology.
It is known that Ajinomoto’s completely free factory tours are a pioneering activity for industrial tourism in Dong Nai, attracting thousands of visitors each year. Visiting the factory, students from the Institute of Intelligent and Interactive Technologies (3I) learned about the history of Ajinomoto, visited the production lines that create products such as seasoning powder, MSG, powdered spices and powdered instant beverage products, as well as learning about the nutritional characteristics and products of the enterprise. In particular, students also had the opportunity to participate in the activity of “transforming” into Master Chef, wearing an apron and showing off their cooking skills. With the guidance of professional chefs and the “help” of Ajinomoto products, the students prepared their own sushi rolls.
Through the diverse and interesting activities of the field trip, it can be seen that 3I-ers not only learned practical knowledge about business operations and production processes at the factory but also had more meaningful memories and fun moments with friends.
