3ITech students visit Heineken Vung Tau factory

Vung Tau, May 17, 2024 – As part of the enterprise outreach program, students from Institute of Intelligent and Interactive Technologies (3ITech) visited the Heineken factory in Ba Ria – Vung Tau – the largest and most modern brewery in Southeast Asia. The visit was a valuable opportunity for students to learn about the modern beer production process, as well as experience the professional working environment at one of the world’s leading multinational corporations.

At the Heineken Vung Tau factory, students were introduced to the history of Heineken, the beer production process from raw materials to finished products, the quality management system and the advanced technological solutions applied in production. Students were also taken on a tour of the modern, highly automated production line, ensuring consistent product quality and food safety.

The students were particularly impressed with the closed fermentation system at the Heineken Ba Ria – Vung Tau factory. This is also the first factory of the Heineken Group worldwide to apply the most modern automatic fermentation technology, with fermentation tanks stored in a large cold room at a temperature of 12-16 degrees Celsius.

The visit to the Heineken factory provided students from the Institute of Information Technology and Interaction with a wealth of useful knowledge and valuable practical experience. This is a practical activity in the curriculum, contributing to improving the quality of training, helping students have more knowledge and skills to meet the needs of the labor market.
