On February 29, 2024, the Institute of Intelligent and Interactive Technologies (3I) held a meeting and discussed with Chiang Mai University (CMU) – Thailand about cooperation programs in the fields of education and research.
Representatives of the Institute of Intelligent and Interactive Technologies participating in the meeting included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truong Thinh – Institute Director and Dr. Dang Tri Dung – Director of the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Program. Welcoming the delegation, representatives of Chiang Mai University included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong – Director of CM-IES, Deputy Dean of the International Faculty of Engineering and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chakkapong Chamroon – Director of the Robotics Engineering Program and Faculty of AI Technology.
Representatives of the two units discussed cooperation contents such as student exchange programs, lecturer exchange programs, promoting academic exchange between lecturers and students of both units through learning, teaching, research and seminar activities. In addition, creating conditions for final year students to implement graduation projects, strengthen academic exchange and international cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the two units agreed on a number of specific cooperation contents and will continue to discuss in detail to implement cooperation programs as soon as possible.

Through the discussion, the Institute of Intelligent and Interactive Technologies hopes to improve the quality of training and research through cooperation with Chiang Mai University, as well as strengthen academic exchange and international cooperation.
